Proprietary) Tank (Right)
Electro-flocculation
is a process that involves the use of electricity to form particles.
An electrical current passing a specially designed grid produces
oxygen and hydrogen free radicals. Oxygen radicals quickly bond to
metals and other pollutants in the water making them non-soluble.
The CES electro-flocculation process works in minutes versus hours
in competitive systems. CES uses electroflocculation to remove
all forms of metals including chromium, mercury, lead and copper,
sulphates, phosphates, heavy alcohols and detergents.
Note:
The
scum is floating on the
surface of left tank and clear water in clarifier tank
on right. This is an interesting example of the mechanical
efficiency of CES technology. The two tanks are piped directly
together at their base.
